Gracedieu is a cottage in Killin. It sits right on the Falls of Dochart, which is a fairly busy spot in the village. The front looks over the river and the old bridge.
It's a terraced cottage, one of a row. It was built in the 1700s, so ceilings are low in places and the stairs are pretty steep. That's just how it is. It sleeps four, with two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's comfortable and clean. There's a wood burner in the living room.
The garden at the back is enclosed. It's quiet and you get a good view of the Tarmachan Ridge. Part of it used to be the old railway line, so some of the sleepers are still there. There's also a garden room, which was converted from an old bothy. It has double doors you can open on a warm day.
You can walk to everything in the village in a few minutes. There's a shop, cafes, and a couple of pubs. The Falls of Dochart Inn is right next to the bridge. Killin is good for walking. The Rob Roy Way goes through the village. Loch Tay is about a mile away if you fancy the water.
For a drive out, you've got Crianlarich about 13 miles away, or Callander is 21 miles. Stirling, with the castle, is 37 miles.
The cottage has parking, WiFi, a washing machine, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring one dog. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them.
