The Woodshed
The Woodshed is in Letton, near the Welsh border. It used to be a wood shed. It's attached to our house, but you have your own space and garden. The main view is over our fields. It's very quiet here.
It sleeps four in two bedrooms. There are two bathrooms, which is handy. It has a 4 Star rating. It's a luxury property, so everything is new and well finished.
You get the garden to yourselves, with the private hot tub. The views from there are the real thing. Out the front, you can walk straight into our private woodland. It's about six acres. Good for a proper walk.
Inside, it's all open plan downstairs with a wood burner. The sun room is a nice spot, just chairs and a table looking out. Stairs are a standard flight.
Hay-on-Wye is about nine miles drive. That's the book town with the festival. Good for bookshops and a coffee. The Wye Valley is all around for walking or canoeing. Hereford city is about 30 minutes away for bigger shops.
Facilities are all there: washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. Parking is right next to the cottage. It has a wheelchair-accessible entrance. No pets, sorry.
