The Woodshed
The Woodshed is in Letton, near Kington. It's our old woodshed, converted. You'll be next to our main house but you've got your own space. It sleeps four in two bedrooms, both upstairs. Each bedroom has its own bathroom, which is handy.
The garden is yours. It looks out over the fields. There's a hot tub out there. We've also got a bit of private woodland just down the track. You're welcome to walk through it.
Inside, it's one open room downstairs. There's a wood burner, which is good on a cold night. The sun room is the best spot, I think. You get the full view from there. The kitchen has what you need. Stairs are normal, not too steep.
It's quiet here. The nearest proper shop and pub are in Kington, about three miles away. Hay-on-Wye is nine miles. That's where the bookshops and the festival are. Good for a mooch.
For walks, you're right on the border. Offa's Dyke Path is close. Hay Bluff and the Black Mountains are a short drive. You can be in Hereford in about half an hour if you need a city. The River Wye is good for canoeing if you're that way inclined.
Facilities: it's all there. Wifi, TV, washing machine, dishwasher. Parking for two cars. The whole place is on one level downstairs, so wheelchair access to the living area is fine. No pets, I'm afraid.
