Rose Cottage
Rose Cottage is in Holywell, near the Golden Valley. It's detached and secluded, so it’s quiet. You look out onto an orchard and have a large, enclosed garden at the back with a level lawn.
It's for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. It has a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well-equipped. Everything is on the ground floor, so no stairs to worry about.
The cottage has a dishwasher and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right outside. No pets, sorry.
There's a nature reserve, Flits, right opposite. You're welcome to walk through it. Blakemere Wood is on your doorstep too.
It's good for walking. You've got the Black Mountains, Brecon Beacons, and Offa's Dyke nearby. For a day out, Hay-on-Wye is about a 20-minute drive for the bookshops. Hereford is 10 miles away for the cathedral and shops. The River Wye is close if you fancy canoeing.
