Hop Kiln Barn Mansell Gamage

This is Hop Kiln Barn, out in Mansell Gamage. It's a detached stone barn, converted for two people. You're on your own out here, no neighbours attached.

It's all one level inside. Open plan living area with the kitchen at one end. One bedroom and one shower room. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's done to a good standard, comfortable and clean.

The garden is out the back. It's enclosed and private, just a lawn and a patio with a table.

You're in the countryside. The lane is quiet. For a shop, there's a farm shop and garden centre about a mile and a half away. They do breakfast and lunch as well.

Hereford is about nine miles east. That's where the cathedral is, with the Mappa Mundi. Leominster is closer, about six miles north. Ross-on-Wye and Ledbury are both within a twenty minute drive.

If you head west, Hay-on-Wye is about sixteen miles. That's the book town. The Black and White Villages trail starts round here. For a walk by the river, the Weir Garden in Hereford is National Trust. So is Croft Castle a bit further north.

Facilities: there's parking right outside, WiFi, a washing machine, and bike storage if you need it. Bedding and towels are included. No pets.
