The Old Post Office is a bungalow in Eaton Bishop. It's detached and at the end of a no-through road. It's from the 1950s but it's been done up. There's a big private garden, which is fully enclosed.
It sleeps six people in three bedrooms. It's all on one floor, so there are no stairs to worry about. There's one bathroom, which is a wet room with a walk-in shower. It's got a 3 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and clean without being luxury.
You can bring up to two dogs. There's space in the garden to park a caravan if you need it, with an electric and water point. You need to arrange that with me first though. Stabling for horses is also possible by arrangement.
The place has an open fire. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair.
It's a quiet hamlet. The nearest shop, post office, and two pubs are about three miles away in the next village. There's a takeaway there too.
You're right by the River Wye. Good for walking, canoeing, or fishing. The area is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Hereford is about fifteen minutes by car. It's got a cathedral, shops, restaurants, and a cinema.
Other places within half an hour include Hay-on-Wye, which is famous for its bookshops. Ross-on-Wye is a nice market town. The National Trust has several properties nearby, like Berrington Hall. The Brecon Beacons and the Malvern Hills are also within easy reach if you want bigger hills.
