The Old Post Office is a bungalow in Eaton Bishop. It's a 1950s place, detached, at the end of a quiet lane. It's got a three star rating, so it's comfortable and clean but not luxurious.
It sleeps six people in three bedrooms. There's one bathroom, which is a wet room with a walk-in shower, so it's good if you have any mobility issues. Everything's on the ground floor.
The garden is big and fenced in, so it's private and safe for kids or dogs. We allow up to two pets. There's parking for a couple of cars on the drive.
Inside, you've got the basics: a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. There's an open fire in the living room. We provide the bedding and towels. A cot and highchair are there if you need them.
The hamlet is very quiet. The nearest shop and a couple of pubs are about three miles away in the next village.
You're right on the edge of the Wye Valley, which is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. There's good walking straight from the door, and the River Wye is close by for fishing or canoeing.
Hereford is about fifteen minutes by car. It's got the cathedral with the Mappa Mundi, a cinema, and shops. Hay-on-Wye is roughly half an hour away for the bookshops. The National Trust has a few properties nearby, like Berrington Hall. The Brecon Beacons and the Malvern Hills are both within a 30 minute drive if you want bigger hills.
