Mill Cottage is on our farm in Peterchurch. It's a detached stone cottage from the 1600s, so it's Grade II listed. The lane to the cottage is shared with us, but you have the place to yourselves once you're there.
It sleeps six, with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The rating is 4 Star. It's been restored, but we kept a lot of the original features. There's a woodburning stove for cooler nights.
The cottage looks out over an old hay meadow. There's a fenced stream at the bottom of the garden. It feels quiet and separate, but you're only a mile from the village shop and pub.
If you like walking, it's good here. You can start straight from the door, or drive a short way into the Black Mountains or the Brecon Beacons. The Offa's Dyke path is close by. For days out, Hay-on-Wye is about ten miles. Hereford is twelve miles, and Abergavenny is twenty.
We're a working farm, so you'll see animals about. There's parking right outside. The garden is enclosed. Inside, you've got Wi-Fi, a TV, dishwasher, washing machine, and all your bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair if you need them.
