Sunnybank is near Newton in Herefordshire. It's a detached stone cottage, built in the 1800s. You're on your own out here, with about three and a half acres of land around you. It's very quiet.
The cottage sleeps eight people. There are four bedrooms and two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-equipped. The main living area is open plan, with a woodburning stove. There's a separate games room with a pool table.
The garden is enclosed, which is good if you're bringing dogs. You can bring up to two. There's plenty of parking right outside.
You need a car here. The nearest shop and pub are in Bodenham, about three miles away. They're fine for basics. For a bigger shop, you'd go into Hereford, which is about a 20 minute drive.
Being in the countryside is the main point. You can walk straight out from the door. It's an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. For local walks and information, the Wye Valley AONB site is useful. The river Wye is close by for canoeing. There are places for pony trekking and mountain biking nearby too.
Hereford has the cathedral and the Mappa Mundi. Ludlow is about a 40 minute drive west, good for food and the castle. The Malvern Hills are maybe 30 minutes south if you fancy a bigger walk.
Inside, you've got a dishwasher, washing machine, wifi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair.
