Cwm Dwr Bluebell Hut is in Dulas, near Kington. It's a shepherd's hut in its own little spot overlooking a small stream. You've got your own garden area. It's quiet here, you'll just hear the stream and the birds.
The hut sleeps two. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and well set up. The bed is up a small set of steps, so you need to be okay with that.
There's a wood burner, a small gas hob to cook on, and a kettle. It's got a cool box with ice packs instead of a fridge. Bedding and towels are provided. There's a covered stone terrace outside with a table and chairs, a BBQ, and a wood-fired hot tub.
The bathroom has a shower and toilet. It's all inside the hut so you don't need to go outside. You can park right next to it.
For a walk from the door, the Dulas Valley path is just up the lane. The village has a good local pub, The Harp Inn, which is about a ten-minute walk down the road. They do food.
Kington is about four miles away for shops. Hay-on-Wye is a twenty-minute drive for the bookshops. The Black Mountains and Offa's Dyke Path are right on the doorstep for walking. You can drive into the Brecon Beacons in about forty minutes.
You can bring two dogs. They need to be kept on a lead outside because of the free-range chickens and sheep in the neighbouring fields.
