The Old Chapel Grosmont

The Old Chapel is a converted mission hall on the edge of Grosmont. It sleeps three. Two bedrooms, one bathroom upstairs. They did the work in 2019, so everything feels fresh. There's a wood burner in the open plan living space, which is decent sized for three of you. Patio doors open onto a walled courtyard.

The place has a 5 Star rating. It's comfortable and well finished. The stairs are a spiral staircase, which is quite narrow in parts.

You can bring one dog. The courtyard is fully enclosed.

Grosmont itself is a small village. The castle is here, it's worth a look. There's a good pub and restaurant about half a mile away, walking distance if you don't mind a bit of a hill on the way back. The Wye Valley is right here for walks from the door.

You're surrounded by castles. Skenfrith is about four miles, White Castle is four and a half. Abergavenny is eleven miles for shops and cafes. It has the big food festival in September. Monmouth is about twelve miles.
