The Workshop is in Garway, in Herefordshire. It's a detached place, just for two people. One bedroom with an ensuite bathroom. It got a 4 Star rating after a full renovation a couple of years ago, so everything is clean and works properly.
The main thing is the view. You look out over the fields towards Wales. It's a proper, uninterrupted view. The front of the lodge is all windows to make the most of it.
Inside it's all open plan. There's a wood burner for cooler nights. The garden is a good size, mostly lawn. There's a bistro set and a fire pit out there.
You're right on the Three Castles Walk. For a day out, Abergavenny is about twenty minutes' drive. It's a good market town with shops and places to eat. Monmouth is a bit closer, about fifteen minutes. There are a few local pubs within a couple of miles.
Facilities: WiFi, parking, bedding and towels are included. The entrance is wheelchair accessible. There's no step into the main living space.
Useful links: Visit Wales has information on the area and walks. For the castles, you can look at the English Heritage site.
