Micawbers Cottage

Set in a quiet location on the outskirts of Coupar Angus, Micawbers offers all you could want from a holiday cottage, featuring lovely comfortable bedrooms, cosy living room with fireplace, and a spacious kitchen/dining room which opens directly onto a large, enclosed lawned garden with wood burning heater and patio ideal for al-fresco meals.
Relax and unwind and let the worries of the world pass you by. The walk-in shower and real wooden floors add to cottage charm, and it is an easy walk into the pedestrianised town centre with its selection of shops and eateries, along with a really good playpark with tennis courts. There are a good variety of activities available in the area, as the cottage is within an easy drive of the lovely Angus Glens- a mecca for hillwalkers. Glenshee Ski slopes 40 minutes drive, ski hire 4 miles Blairgowrie. Good golf is in abundance throughout the area as is excellent walking and river fishing. Visit Glamis Castle, home of the late Queen Mother, with its fascinating history, or head to Scone Palace, home to the Stone of Destiny and also the base for Perth Racecourse. Nearby Kirriemuir is a pleasant town and famous for being the birthplace of JM Barrie, author of Peter Pan, whilst slightly further afield are the bustling towns of Pitlochry and Aberfeldy.
