Excellent birdwatching opportunities are available at the many RSPB reserves, Tay Estuary and the nearby Tentsmuir beach and forest. Just on the outskirts of the town, Tayport Distillery produces fine Scottish spirits from locally sourced grain including gin, vodka, liqueurs and Eau de Vie. You can visit the Distillery and enjoy a tour which will give you a fascinating glimpse into the world of craft spirits. Local shops and cafés are within easy walking distance of the property, while all the cultural and social attractions of the city of Dundee are just 4 miles away over the famous bridge.
