This handily located ground floor apartment has views from the front over the silvery Tay and its bridges towards Broughty Ferry castle on the far shore. Well-equipped and very comfortably furnished, it is a super base from which to explore the area. There are excellent transport links via bus to Dundee, St Andrews, and Perth, with Edinburgh and Glasgow just over an hour away. Golfers are spoilt for choice with St Andrews, Kings Barns and Carnoustie easily reached, but closer still is Scotscraig, an Open Final qualifying course, steeped in history and with proud traditions.
For cyclists the Fife Coastal Path starts at the Tay bridge and ends at North Queensferry, via historic castles, quaint fishing villages and award winning beaches. Excellent birdwatching opportunities are available at the many RSPB reserves, Tay Estuary and the nearby Tentsmuir beach and forest. Just on the outskirts of the town, Tayport Distillery produces fine Scottish spirits from locally sourced grain including gin, vodka, liqueurs and Eau de Vie. You can visit the Distillery and enjoy a tour which will give you a fascinating glimpse into the world of craft spirits. Local shops and cafés are within easy walking distance of the property, while all the cultural and social attractions of the city of Dundee are just 4 miles away over the famous bridge.
