Rivendale Lodge is one of the largest lodges in this small, peaceful park. It has three fantastic bedrooms, which comfortably sleeps six guests. Here you can enjoy the scenery and the peace and quiet of this perfectly located lodge yet all within a 5 minutes’ drive from the stunning historic town of St Andrews. Situated in over 170 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds with woodland walks leading onto Cameron Reservoir. This detached lodge can be found towards the front of this small and peaceful resort, not too far from the café and bar. Ideal for a short break at any time of year and those with more time on their hands to explore the picturesque Fife Coastline and its many charming fishing ports.
This new luxury lodge has been built throughout to a very high standard and decorated with plush furnishings and finishes. The open plan living space is bright and spacious with a fantastic Smart TV, perfect for Netflix and Amazon Firestick, and a modern electric coal-effect fire to keep yourself warm in the winter. The living area leads out onto the decked area where you can sit and relax after long walks on the beach or a busy day shopping. There are two twin bedrooms which offers the option of being turned into doubles. Along the hall is the main bathroom with an overhead shower then on to a very large master bedroom, with dressing area and en-suite.
There is a fully equipped, modern kitchen with family dining area that seats six. St. Andrews may be known principally for its championship golf courses, but this charming and historic town is also a wonderful place for holidays. It has a lovely old-world atmosphere that comes from its old university and medieval buildings. In amongst the cobbled streets and narrow alley ways of the medieval town centre, offering plenty of shops, cafés and restaurants. Discover St. Andrew’s Castle, cathedral and adjacent church of St. Regulus, and climb the steps in the tower for magnificent views over the town.
This is a coastal town with access to a wide sandy beach where you can stroll or indulge in some seal spotting which can often be seen off this coast. Whether you are looking to tee off, bask in the royal history or explore the local wildlife St. Andrews is definitely the place for you.
