The Haven

Situated in the picturesque village of Ceres, The Haven is an immaculately presented studio cottage. In a quiet and private location in the corner of the owner’s garden and with a courtyard area to sit in and relax. Perfect for a couple or guest travelling on their own, the spacious open plan living space has a kitchen area, dining area with dining table, bedroom area with a kingsize bed, and a living area with comfortable seating and a wood burner which is perfect for a cosy night in.
Ceres is a quaint village to explore with unusual historic buildings and an ancient bridge over the stream passing through the village. Walk or cycle out into the countryside on quiet lanes with fabulous views, join the Fife Pilgrims Way to discover the history of the area. The village has a museum, tearoom, butcher and shop all within walking distance. Nearby attractions include the Hill of Tarvit Mansion House, a fascinating National Trust house and gardens with Hatters Edwardian Tearoom, there is also a 9 hole ‘Hickory’ golf course.
You are only 8 miles from the magnificent beaches and championship golf courses at St Andrews which has a great range of shops, bistros and restaurants, cafes, ice cream parlour and historic buildings, museum and Sea Life Centre and makes a great day out. Dundee is easily accessible, the waterfront with the Victoria and Albert Museum is a must and the multi award-winning Discovery Point and views over the Tay Estuary. The Haven is an ideal holiday base to explore the area from and return to and relax to plan your next day’s adventures. Beach 8 miles.
