This warm, comfortable and spacious bungalow is set in its own garden and grounds, within a working arable farm, on the outskirts of Montrose, near to the famous Montrose Basin.
Surrounded by rolling farmland, Parkview is a perfect base for you and your family or friends to get together. Ideally situated between fabulous pale, sandy beaches and the magnificent Angus Glens, this area has widespread appeal. Wildlife can be seen in abundance; the wonderful Montrose Basin, managed by the Scottish Wildlife Trust, is a magnet for a huge variety of bird and marine life. In winter come and witness the amazing spectacle of thousands of pink footed geese as they take flight early morning to the surrounding feeding grounds, or look out for seals basking on the sandbars when the tide is out.
Situated on a peninsula between the North and South Esk rivers, Montrose has many other leisure facilities, including excellent tennis courts, a leisure centre with pool and, most recently, a reputable art house cinema. Cyclists have a plethora of tracks to explore – a great way of seeing the landscape up close. For the golfers there is both a 9-hole and 18-hole championship golf course on the links by the beach. Parkview is very well situated for touring Angus, Tayside and Aberdeenshire, Dundee and Aberdeen are almost equidistant, both with a multitude of cultural attractions, including the renowned V & A museum in Dundee.
