Coronella

This comfortable little cottage is set in a peaceful position opposite the village green in the coastal village of St Cyrus. All on one level it is ideal for couples or families looking for a homely base to spend a relaxing week.
St Cyrus is renowned for its superb nature reserve and extensive sandy beach, where sightings of dolphins, porpoises and seals are common, and for birdwatchers is outstanding with common terns, gulls and cormorants rubbing wings with heron, osprey, geese, and swans. Spend a pleasant day on the wonderful beach with a picnic and watch the world go by, or the children can enjoy the play park opposite the cottage. There is plenty to do in this delightful part of Scotland, with admirable coastal paths and cycleways along the magnificent stretch of coastline from Arbroath right up to Stonehaven.
Excellent golf courses at Montrose, Stonehaven and of course Carnoustie are all easily reached, and the cities of Aberdeen and Dundee are good destinations for shopping or cultural attractions including the V and A museum and the RSS Discovery in Dundee. The house is one hour’s drive from two monros and ½-hour drive
from three interesting glens. There are lots of hill walks and forest walks nearby as well as three interesting lochs for walking and the owner can lend you maps and an give advice on these. Peter Pan Park and several National Trust properties are not far away. Beach 1 mile. Pub and restaurant 500 yards.
