Cadleton Farmhouse

Cadleton Farmhouse is on the Ardmaddy Estate near Oban. It sleeps twelve. Five bedrooms, four bathrooms. It's a 4 Star property, so everything is in good order.

The house is wheelchair accessible. There's a carport that leads straight into a games room, which is handy if it's raining. From there you go into the main living room. The kitchen has low-level worktops and an Aga cooker. The conservatory looks out over the garden and the sea.

You're right on the coast. The view is over Seil Sound. You'll see plenty of seabirds. If you're lucky, you might spot porpoise or an otter. The estate has its own bay.

Inside, there's a washing machine, dishwasher, and an open fire. Bedding and towels are included. Outside, there's a patio and garden. Pets are welcome, up to three.

The estate has a lot going on. There's a games room in the house with table tennis and a pool table. You can use the castle's tennis court. There's free fishing on the hill loch. You can also hire boats from the estate, sailing or motor boats.

The nearest pub is about two and a half miles away. Oban is twelve miles. It's a proper town with shops, restaurants, and the ferry terminal for trips to the islands like Mull and Iona.

If you want to explore further, Fort William and Glencoe are about an hour's drive. For local information, the National Trust for Scotland in Argyll page is useful, and Scottish Wildlife Trust has good spotting guides.
