Innish is a house on the Isle of Seil. It’s connected to the mainland by a bridge, so getting there is straightforward. You just drive over.
The house sleeps eight. There are four bedrooms upstairs, and two bathrooms. One is an en-suite. It’s got a 4 Star rating. Everything you’d expect is there.
The layout is good for a group. There’s a big kitchen with an Aga. It gets warm. There are two living rooms, both with open fires. One is right off the kitchen, the other is a bit more separate if you want some quiet.
Upstairs, the rooms are a good size. They all have views out to sea.
The garden is at the front, mostly lawn. It looks out over the water. The back garden goes up the hill. There’s a hidden barbecue area up there. It’s a good spot for kids to explore.
The Bridge Over the Atlantic pub is about 85 yards away. It serves food. There’s a shop at Balvicar a couple of miles down the road.
For things to do, you can walk a lot of the coast from the door. There’s a nine-hole golf course on the island. If you want a boat trip to see wildlife or go through the Corryvreckan whirlpool, there are operators nearby. The Kilmartin Glen museum is about an hour’s drive, if you’re interested in the history. Oban is about 20 minutes by car for ferries or more shops.
Facilities wise: there’s parking, WiFi, a washing machine, a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. We can put out a cot and a highchair if you need them. The house is pet friendly, for up to two dogs.
