Misty Isles Cottage is on Seil Island, at the far end of the little village of Ellenabeich. It's a bungalow, one of a row of four, all facing the sea. It sleeps two. One bedroom, one bathroom.
The view is the main thing. You look straight out over the water towards Mull and all the other islands. The patio is a proper sun trap in the afternoon. You get a couple of chairs out there. It's enclosed, so a dog would be fine.
The place has a 4 Star rating. It's clean and comfortable. The bed's a double. Because it's all open plan, if one person wants to stay up reading with the light on, it might disturb the other. Just something to be aware of.
The pub next door, the Oyster Bar, is very handy. They do food and have local ales. It's about thirty seconds' walk. The shop is a couple of miles away in Balvicar, so you'd want to stock up in Oban on your way through.
You drive over the "Bridge over the Atlantic" to get here. It's about 16 miles from Oban, which has all the ferry terminals if you're wanting to go to Mull or further out. The ferry to the Isle of Luing leaves from just up the road, about five miles away.
There are local boat trips that go from the pier here, for wildlife spotting. The coastal path is on your doorstep for walking. There's a 9-hole golf course nearby at Clachan.
Included: Bedding and towels, WiFi, a washing machine, a BBQ. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
