Torsa

Torsa is in a place called Clachan Seil, on Seil Island. It’s part of a two-cottage setup, but yours is separate.

The place is right on the shore. You get a patio with a garden behind it and a clear view out over the water.

Inside is straightforward. It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It’s a four star property, which means it's comfortable and well-equipped, not luxury. It’s open plan downstairs and the decor isn't fancy, but it’s clean.

You have direct access to the shore from the garden. It’s rocky, not a sandy beach, so good for exploring or throwing stones in.

The famous “Bridge over the Atlantic” is just down the road, connecting you to the mainland.

There’s a pub and restaurant a quarter of a mile away. It's handy. The closest shop is about two and a half miles away.

Oban is a twenty minute drive. It’s busy, you can get ferries to the islands like Mull from there. If you want to go out on the water, both Sea-fari Adventures and Sealife Adventures run boat trips from the area. They go to places like the Corryvreckan whirlpool.

Fort William and Glencoe are within an hour’s drive for bigger mountain walks.

Facilities are all included. There's a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, and parking on site. Bedding and towels are provided. No pets.

For planning days out, the National Trust for Scotland's Argyll page might be useful.
