This welcoming first floor holiday traditional Victorian apartment with rear views to a lovely, shared garden and woodland, has been sympathetically renovated in 2021 to cater for the perfect coastal town break. Situated in a secluded back lane, just off the main street in Oban, you can be close to the hustle and bustle of town life, whilst being complete separate in your own peaceful apartment.
Woodside Hideaway is close to all shopping, entertainments, restaurants, and all sailing, rail, ferry and coach terminals. Woodside apartment is the ideal size for a couple wishing to enjoy a coastal town centre break and is made cosy by convenient electric heating.

Retaining many of the original features, it has a cosy living/dining room served by a tiny, yet perfectly formed kitchen, fully equipped for easy self-catering. The master bedroom with woodland views is furnished with comfy zip and link twin beds which can be made up as a king on request, served by an adjacent shower room.

A bustling west coast harbour town, Oban has lots going on for the visitor at any time of the year. Central for touring Argyll and known as the “Gateway to the Isles”, with ferries leaving daily to many of the islands, such as Mull, Iona, Staffa, Lismore. Loads of outdoor sports to enjoy locally, with a kayaking centre just yards away, which launches into Oban Bay, directly in front of the apartment. In keeping with its reputation as the Seafood Capital of Scotland, there are some excellent restaurants, cafes and pubs nearby, for relaxing after a pleasant day out exploring all the wonderful scenery and interesting attractions which Argyll has to offer. There is a lovely sandy beach at Ganavan, just two miles’ drive along the coastal road. Dunollie, Dunstaffnage and Kilchurn Castles are some of the nearby castles to visit as part of a day’s sightseeing. Beach 3 miles.
