Cedar Lodge is in Charlcot, North Yorkshire. It's a lodge, one of five on a quiet site next to some woods. The site is near the River Ure in Wensleydale, on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales.
It sleeps five. There are two bedrooms and two bathrooms. It has a 3 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and clean. Everything is on one level, which some people find useful.
You're about a mile and a half from the nearest pub that does food. Masham is three miles away. That's your proper market town, with shops, a few places to eat, and Theakston's Brewery. They have a market square.
You can walk straight out from the lodge into the countryside. For days out, Lightwater Valley is close if you've got kids. The Fountains Abbey estate is within ten miles. Ripon and its cathedral are about the same distance. Harrogate is twenty miles, and York is about thirty-five.
The facilities are what you'd expect. There's a dishwasher, WiFi, TV, and parking right outside. The garden is your own. You can bring up to three dogs. Bedding is included, and we have a cot and highchair if you need them.
For planning, the Yorkshire Dales National Park site has good information.
