Brens Barn
This is Brens Barn. It's a converted barn on our farm near Aiskew. It's detached and all on one level, so it's fairly straightforward to get around. It sleeps four, two bedrooms, one shower room.
It's fairly new, converted a few years ago, so everything works. Underfloor heating, that sort of thing. The kitchen's got what you need. There's a Smart TV with the usual streaming services if you're in for the night.
Outside, there's a paved area out the front with chairs, looking over the paddocks. You might see the peacocks that wander about. There's a separate raised terrace around the side as well. You can use the barbecue.
We've also got what we call the barbecue shed on the farm. It's a big shared space you can book. It's got a bar, a big table, a proper barbecue and pizza oven, and a dartboard. There are some outdoor games too.
If you're walking, you can head down from the barn across the fields to Bedale Beck. You do have to cross the railway line to get there, mind. The Wensleydale Railway steam trains go through, which is a nice sight.
Bedale town is about a ten minute walk. There are shops, a few pubs and places to eat. The train station's there too if you fancy a trip on the heritage line.
You're right on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales. Good for walking or cycling. If you're bringing horses, we have stabling and a paddock available, just ask.
Facilities: parking right outside, WiFi, washing machine, dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. No pets.
