This is The Hayloft. It's a converted barn on a farm just outside Patrick Brompton. It's for two people. Quiet spot, mostly just fields and the farmhouse.
The place got its 5 Star rating because it's done up to a high standard. It's all open plan, with a kitchen area, a sofa by the wood burner, and the bed is on the other side of a half-wall. The bed's a super king. There's a big freestanding bath in the main room and a separate walk-in shower with underfloor heating. It's set up more for a couple than a group of friends.
You've got the basics: TV, WiFi, parking right outside. Bedding and towels are provided. There's a wood burner and they leave you some logs to start with. You can store bikes if you bring them.
The farm has some grounds you can walk around. There's a tennis court you can use if you fancy it.
Patrick Brompton itself is a hamlet. There's a local pub within walking distance. Bedale is the nearest proper town, about three miles away for shops.
You're right on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales here. Wensleydale is maybe a 20 minute drive. Leyburn, Masham, Middleham are all within half an hour. Good walking and cycling straight from the door if you want it.
