Hayloft
The Hayloft is a converted barn on our farm in Patrick Brompton. It’s for two people. It’s a single, open-plan space, but there’s a half-wall that sections off the bedroom area with the super king-size bed. It’s private, but not separate.
It's a 5 Star place. That means it's well finished. There's underfloor heating in the shower room, a wood burner, and a freestanding bath in the main room. There's a kitchen with a breakfast bar, a sofa, and a TV. The WiFi is fine for browsing.
You can walk from the door down our drive and into the parkland by the stream. There’s a tennis court in the grounds you can use. The parking is right outside.
It’s very quiet here. Bedale is about three miles away for supermarkets. There are plenty of good pubs in the surrounding villages, like The George at Crakehall or The Bruce Arms in West Tanfield.
For getting out, you’re right on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales. Leyburn and its market are about 20 minutes by car. Masham, with the breweries, is about 15 minutes. For a big day out, the Aysgarth Falls or the Bolton Castle estate are within half an hour. Further into the Dales, places like Hawes or Reeth are probably 40 minutes.
