This place is called Daisy. It's in Scruton, just outside Northallerton. It's a bungalow, so everything's on one level. That's good if stairs are a problem.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both with their own bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. That means it's comfortable and well looked after.
The cottage used to be a farm building. It's been done up nicely. There's a woodburning stove for chilly evenings. The garden is enclosed, which is handy.
You're on a country lane. There's a farm shop about 400 yards away. The village pub is three quarters of a mile. It's a quiet spot.
You're close to the A1, so it's easy to get around. Northallerton is a few minutes away for supermarkets and things. Bedale, Thirsk, and Richmond are about a twenty minute drive. The Yorkshire Dales start not far from here. For a good day out, North York Moors National Park is under half an hour away.
If you want a theme park, Lightwater Valley is about twenty minutes drive. For something different, The Forbidden Corner near Leyburn is popular.
Facilities: there's a washing machine, dishwasher, Wi-Fi, and parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. No pets allowed.
