Hunters Lodge is on the edge of Scruton, a village outside Northallerton. It's a detached stone cottage, converted from an old barn. There are beams in the ceilings.
It sleeps five. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. The bathroom has a shower over the bath. Everything's on the ground floor, which is good for accessibility. There's a wood burner in the living room. The kitchen is big enough for a family meal.
Outside, there's a garden with seating. You can park on site.
You can bring one dog. We provide bedding and towels. There's a cot, a washing machine, and a dishwasher. The Wi-Fi works.
Scruton is quiet. Northallerton is about three miles away for shops and pubs. There's a train station there if you want to go to York or Leeds without driving.
The location is the main thing. You're between the North York Moors and the Yorkshire Dales, both about a 20-minute drive. Good for walking. There's local fishing and a golf course nearby.
