Barbers Bolthole is in Masham. It's an old barbers shop that's been done up into a cottage. It sleeps five, with three bedrooms and one bathroom.
The place has a good amount of space for its size. The main living room is on the ground floor, off the hall. There's a kitchen and dining area on the same level, which is handy. Upstairs there's a small snug room that looks out over the garden. It gets good light.
Outside, there's a private patio with an artificial lawn. It's enclosed. The garden isn't large, but it's yours.
You're right in the centre of town. The market square, pubs, shops, and both the Black Sheep and Theakston breweries are a couple of minutes' walk away. There's a good gin distillery too, where you can book tours.
For walks, you can start right from the door into the countryside. The Yorkshire Dales are on your doorstep. For a day out, the cathedral city of Ripon is about seven miles away. Fountains Abbey and Studley Royal are a bit further, maybe a twenty minute drive. The spa town of Harrogate and RHS Harlow Carr are within half an hour.
Practical things: it's got a 4 Star rating. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. No pets, sorry.
