Stonehaven Cottage Nosterfield

Stonehaven Cottage is a bungalow in Nosterfield. It's detached, so no one else attached to the walls. You get the whole place and the enclosed garden to yourselves.

It sleeps four in two bedrooms. One has a kingsize bed, the other has two singles that can be zipped together into a super kingsize if you ask beforehand. There's one bathroom with a shower over the bath. It's got a 4 Star rating, which is good. It means it's well-equipped and comfortable.

The living room looks out over open fields. The kitchen is open plan with a decent sized table. It's all on one level, so no stairs to worry about.

There's a pub about 500 yards away. They do food. The nearest proper shops are in Bedale, about four miles.

Nosterfield Nature Reserve is less than a mile from the cottage. It's good for a walk and some birdwatching.

Fountains Abbey is about a 15 minute drive. It's a National Trust site and a World Heritage Site. Lightwater Valley theme park is roughly 20 minutes away by car. The Forbidden Corner, which is a bit odd but kids tend to like it, is about half an hour's drive.

For facilities: there's parking, WiFi, a washing machine, a dishwasher, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and a highchair if you need them. Sorry, no pets.
