Crown Courtyard Cottage

Crown Courtyard Cottage is a one-bedroom terraced cottage in Grewelthorpe. It's for two people. There's parking next to it.

It's got a 3 Star rating. That means it's clean and comfortable, not luxury. It's open plan downstairs. There's a wood burner, which is good. The stairs go up to the bedroom and bathroom. They're not ladder-steep, but they are cottage stairs.

The village is quiet. There's a pub and a restaurant about twenty-five yards away. The shop is in the next village, about a mile and a half drive. The big feature here is a duck pond in the middle of the village, with grass and flowers around it.

You can walk straight from the door. Hackfall Woods is ancient and popular. It's good for a morning walk. You can take dogs. We accept two.

Masham is four miles away. That's where the Theakstons and Black Sheep breweries are. Ripon is seven miles. That's a small city with a cathedral and a market. The Himalayan Garden and Sculpture Park is on the edge of the village. It's worth a visit if you're here.

For a day out, Brimham Rocks is about twenty minutes by car. Fountains Abbey is maybe twenty-five. You can drive to Harrogate in under half an hour. The edge of the Yorkshire Dales is about the same.

Facilities: there's the wood burner, a dishwasher, TV, WiFi, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. It's decorated for Christmas if you book then.
