The Mews
The Mews is up near Masham. It's a first floor apartment, it's in our courtyard above where the old stables were. You get nice views out over the fields from the big windows.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating so it's comfortable and well looked after. Because it's the old granary, the ceilings are quite high, which is nice.
You're welcome to use the walled gardens. There's about an acre and a half. There's lawn for games, a summer house, an orchard, and a little woodland walk down to our pond.
Masham is about a mile and a half down the road. It's a proper market town. The Black Sheep Brewery is there if you fancy a tour. There are a couple of pubs that do food, some shops, and tea rooms.
For walking, you're right on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales. You can start straight from the door. Ripon is about ten miles away, it's got a cathedral and a racecourse. Lightwater Valley theme park is close by, if that's your thing.
York is a bit further, about 37 miles, but it's a straightforward drive if you want a day out at the shops or to see the Minster.
In the apartment there's a wood burning stove, a dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right outside. No pets, sorry.
