Lime Tree Cottage is in Oakley, which is in Fife. It's detached and sits by itself in a bit of woodland. You get a view over the fields.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. One bedroom and a bathroom are on the ground floor, which helps if stairs are a problem. The whole place is wheelchair friendly. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well equipped. The layout is open plan.
There's a patio and a garden that's yours to use. It's peaceful here. You can walk straight out into the woods.
The nearest shop is about a mile away. Pubs are a mile and a half. The village of Culross is three miles. It's an old 17th century place, very well preserved, run by the National Trust for Scotland. It's good for a wander.
Dunfermline is five miles. It's got all the bigger shops and places to eat. It was Scotland's capital a long time ago.
From here, you can get to a lot in about half an hour. The Forth Bridges, Stirling Castle, and the edge of Edinburgh are all within that drive. The Fife Coastal Path is nearby if you want a long walk.
For facilities: there's parking, a washing machine, towels and bedding are included, and WiFi. You can bring one dog.
