The Wee Cottage

The Wee Cottage is on a quiet street in Dunfermline. It's a ground floor flat with its own small garden at the back. You're not overlooked.

It sleeps four, but it's one bedroom. There's a double bed and a double sofa bed in the living room. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's bright with high ceilings, so it feels bigger than it is. Everything is on one level.

You're about five minutes' walk from a supermarket and the bus station. The train station is about ten minutes. The trains to Edinburgh are good and take around twenty minutes.

Dunfermline itself has everything you need. Shops, pubs, a cinema. The old Abbey is where Robert the Bruce is buried, which is worth a look. Historic Environment Scotland have the details.

For getting out, you're well placed. The Fife Coastal Path is nearby. You can join it at Limekilns, which is a ten minute drive. From there you can walk along the coast. St Andrews is about forty minutes by car. Plenty of golf there if that's your thing.

Glasgow is under an hour by car. Edinburgh is obviously very close. If you drive north for half an hour, you're into Perthshire for a different kind of scenery.

In terms of what's here: there's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and a smart TV with Netflix. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. One well-behaved dog is welcome.

If you have more people, there are two other flats in the same building you could book as well. They're listed separately.
