Bankhead Farm Cottage Dalgety Bay

Bankhead Farm Cottage is on our working farm here near Dalgety Bay. It's a detached house, so it's just you. The garden is enclosed.

It sleeps eight. There are four bedrooms and two bathrooms. One bathroom is on the ground floor. It's got a 3 Star rating. It's clean and comfortable, not luxurious. The stairs are open tread, which some people find a bit steep. There's a stairgate at the top.

Because it's a farm, there are animals and machinery moving about. You need to watch children outside. The kids' play area is away from the farmyard.

You can see the Forth Bridges and Edinburgh from some of the windows. Aberdour village is about three miles away. It's got a good beach, a castle, and a train station. The train to Edinburgh takes about twenty minutes. That's easier than driving in.

There's a golf course two miles away. Deep Sea World at North Queensferry is five miles.

For a day out, you can drive through the East Neuk fishing villages to St Andrews. It's about an hour. The Fife Coastal Path is excellent for walks and cycles. The nearest shop and pub are in Aberdour.

Inside, it's got a washing machine, dishwasher, TV, and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if needed. Parking for two cars right outside.
