Bankhead Farm Cottage

Bankhead Farm Cottage is on our farm, just outside Dalgety Bay. It's a detached stone cottage. The view looks out over our fields towards the Firth of Forth. You can see the Forth Bridges and Edinburgh in the distance on a clear day.

It sleeps eight people in four bedrooms. There are two bathrooms. It has a 3 Star rating, so it's comfortable and clean without being a show home. The kitchen has what you'd need. There's a dishwasher and a washing machine.

The garden is enclosed, which is handy if you have kids or a dog. Sorry, no pets though. There's a play area for children with some basic climbing things.

It's a working farm, so you'll see tractors going past sometimes. You might hear a cow. It's not noisy, but it's not silent either.

Aberdour is about three miles away. It's a nice village with a beach, a castle, and a few shops. The train from Aberdour gets you into Edinburgh city centre in about 20 minutes. It's easier than driving in.

You're right by the Fife Coastal Path for walking or cycling. Golf is nearby, about two miles to the nearest course. St Andrews is about a 40-minute drive through the East Neuk fishing villages. Deep Sea World is five miles away, in North Queensferry.

For a shop or a pub, you'll need to drive to Aberdour or Dalgety Bay, which is about three miles.
