Cromwell Cottage is in Burntisland, on the coast in Fife. It's on the first floor of a building but has its own private entrance. You're a few minutes' walk from the town centre and the beach here.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's a 4 Star place, so it's been done up nicely inside. The living room has a wood burner, which is good for cooler evenings. The kitchen looks out over the Firth of Forth.
The beach is about half a mile away. There's a leisure centre, a seaside park, and crazy golf. The high street has shops and cafes. The Fife Coastal Path goes right through here if you like walking.
It's well connected by train. You can get to Edinburgh, Perth, or Dundee without too much trouble. By car, Edinburgh is about half an hour away. St Andrews is about 40 minutes.
Facilities included are bedding and towels, a washing machine, a dishwasher, and WiFi. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. No pets, sorry.
If you're looking for things to do further out, the National Trust for Scotland has properties all over, and you can check the Visit Scotland coasts page for ideas.
