The Den At Culross High Valleyfield

The Den is a detached cottage on our farm. It's down a farm track, so it's quiet. You get the garden to yourself, it's enclosed. The views are over fields towards the hills.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. All on one level, so no stairs. It's a 4 Star place, so it's well looked after. There's underfloor heating and a wood burner if you want a fire.

You're on a working farm, so you'll see the tractor go past. There's a summerhouse in the garden. It's a good spot if the weather turns.

The shop is about a mile away. The pub in High Valleyfield is a mile, it does food. For a coffee or a proper look around, Culross is the place. It's that old, painted village you see in pictures. It's about a fifteen minute walk through the woods from here. They filmed some of Outlander there.

If you walk, the Fife Coastal Path starts nearby. Devilla Forest is good for a cycle. The coast at Culross itself is about five miles. For golf, there are courses locally.

You're handy for driving. Edinburgh, Stirling, St Andrews are all under an hour. Glasgow is a bit longer.

Inside, there's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. The shower is a walk-in type. Parking is right outside.
