The Den At Culross High Valleyfield

The Den is on our farm in High Valleyfield. It's a detached cottage, all on one level. You get a private enclosed garden and a summerhouse.

It sleeps four in two bedrooms and has one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and well looked after, with a wood burner in the living room. The kitchen is modern and has everything you'd need.

You're on a working farm, so you'll see us coming and going. The track up to the cottage is a proper farm track, so just take it steady. The views from here are good, especially looking out towards the hills.

The location is quiet. There's a local pub about a mile away that does food. The beach at Culross or Low Valleyfield is about a twenty minute drive.

If you like walking, you can get straight onto paths from the farm. Our land leads into Balgownie Wood, and from there you can join the Fife Coastal Path. It's about a forty minute walk into Culross itself. It's a conservation village with old cobbled streets. It was used in the Outlander TV series.

Devilla Forest is nearby for walks or a bike ride. You can drive to Edinburgh, Stirling, or St Andrews in under an hour. Glasgow is a bit over an hour.

For facilities: there's parking, a washing machine, a dishwasher, WiFi, and a BBQ. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. The property is wheelchair accessible at the entrance.
