This is the Otter lodge. It's one of the cabins on a working dairy farm near Nomansland. It sleeps six, has three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The layout is all on one level, so no stairs to worry about.
It's a 4 Star place. That means it's comfortable and well-equipped, not luxurious. There's a wood burner for chilly evenings, a TV, WiFi, and a dishwasher. The garden is enclosed, which is good if you're bringing dogs. Speaking of which, you can bring up to two.
Being a farm, you'll see cows and chickens. You can sometimes watch the milking or collect eggs. There's a farm shop on site for milk and local meat. It's peaceful, with views over the fields.
The nearest pub is about three quarters of a mile away in the village. The shop is a bit further. For a bigger shop, you'd drive to Tiverton or South Molton.
You're in a good spot for getting out. Exmoor National Park is very close for walking. The north Devon beaches like Woolacombe and Croyde are about a 40 minute drive. Barnstaple is about half an hour away if you need a cinema or a bigger town.
A couple of useful links if you're planning: National Trust Devon for local places and Exmoor National Park for walking routes.
Things to know: bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if needed. Parking is right outside. And because it's a farm, you will get some farm smells and noises. It's part of the deal.
