This is the Churn. It's a detached log cabin on a working dairy farm in the middle of the country, near Nomansland.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms and two bathrooms, so that's handy. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's clean, comfortable and everything works.
The main thing is the view. It's on high ground, so you look out over fields. There's a patio area with furniture. Inside, it's open plan with a wood burner. It feels private.
Being on a farm is the point here. The owners are happy for you to watch the milking, help feed the calves, or collect eggs. There's a shop on site selling their own meat and milk. You can walk around the farm lanes. There are fishing lakes too, if that's your thing.
It's very quiet. The nearest proper shop is in South Molton, about a ten minute drive. They've got a good market on Fridays. There's a pub within walking distance, maybe three quarters of a mile. It's a proper country walk to get there.
For a day out, you're between Dartmoor and Exmoor. Both are about twenty minutes by car. The north coast beaches, like Croyde and Woolacombe, are roughly forty minutes away. Tiverton is close for supermarkets.
Facilities are all there: WiFi, TV, dishwasher, washing machine, parking. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. No pets.
