Exmoor Nomansland

This place is called Exmoor. It's one of the log cabins at West Middlewick Farm, near Nomansland in Devon. It's a working farm, so you'll see cows and chickens around.

The cabin sleeps six. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms, which helps. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-equipped. The garden is enclosed, which is good if you're bringing dogs. You can have up to two pets.

Inside, it's open plan with a wood burner. It's warm and there's space for everyone. The furniture is fine, nothing too fancy. Being a cabin, the walls between units aren't massively thick, so you might hear neighbours sometimes. It's just something to be aware of.

Outside, you get a patio area with a table and chairs. The view is over fields. It's peaceful.

The farm itself has a shop selling their own meat, eggs, and milk. You can sometimes see the cows being milked or feed the calves if you ask. There are also fishing lakes on site if that's your thing.

For getting out, the local pub is about three-quarters of a mile away. The nearest proper shop is in South Molton, a few miles drive. It's a market town with a good high street.

You're well placed here for both Dartmoor and Exmoor. The coast at places like Croyde and Woolacombe is about a 45-minute drive. For a family day out, Exmoor Zoo is close by, or RHS Rosemoor gardens are very nice.

In terms of what's here, you've got the basics covered: WiFi, TV, a washing machine, dishwasher, and parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. The entrance is step-free.
