The Old Creamery is part of West Middlewick Farm near Nomansland. It's a detached bungalow, so everything's on one level which is handy. The bedrooms are laid out for ten people across four rooms, with two bathrooms, so it suits a big family or a group of friends.
It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and well set up, not overly fancy. The main thing is the space, inside and out. There's an enclosed patio that looks over the fields, which is good if you've got kids or dogs. The garden is yours.
Because it's a working farm, you'll see and hear farm things. You can ask about seeing the milking or feeding the calves if you're interested. There are chickens, and the farm shop sells their eggs and milk, along with local meat. There are a couple of lakes on the land if you want to fish.
The location is quiet. You're about three quarters of a mile from the local pub. South Molton is the closest proper town for shops, about a ten minute drive. For a big supermarket or cinema, you'd go to Barnstaple, which is about twenty minutes.
The north Devon beaches like Saunton, Croyde, and Woolacombe are within half an hour. They're good for surfing. Exmoor is right there for walking. You can drive onto the moor in less than fifteen minutes.
Inside, it's got the basics covered: WiFi, TV, a washing machine, dishwasher. There's a wood burner for cooler evenings. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. You can bring up to two dogs.
