This is Dartmoor, one of the log cabins on the farm. It's in Nomansland, which is up on high ground between Dartmoor and Exmoor. The views are good, just fields and countryside.
It sleeps six, in three bedrooms. There's two bathrooms, which helps with a full house. The place has a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-equipped. It's a log cabin, so it's all open plan downstairs with wooden walls. There's a wood burner for chilly evenings.
Outside, there's an enclosed garden, so it's safe for dogs or kids. You get your own bit of patio with furniture to sit out on. It's peaceful.
It's a working farm. You're welcome to go and see the cows being milked or collect eggs from the hens. There's a small shop on site that sells the farm's own meat and milk. They've also got fishing lakes you can use.
The nearest pub is about three quarters of a mile away in the village. There's a shop just over a mile away. For a bigger shop or a meal out, you'd drive to South Molton or Tiverton.
You're well placed here for getting out. Both Dartmoor National Park and Exmoor National Park are about a 30 minute drive. The north Devon beaches, like Woolacombe and Croyde, are about an hour away.
Facilities are all there: WiFi, TV, dishwasher, washing machine, parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs. There's a cot and highchair if you need them.
