Dalch is one of our log cabins on West Middlewick Farm. It’s near Nomansland in Devon. You’re right in the countryside here, on high ground, so there are views out over the fields.
It sleeps six people in three bedrooms with two bathrooms, which is handy for a group. It’s got a 4 Star rating. The layout is open plan and there’s a wood burner for chilly evenings. Outside, there’s a private patio area with garden furniture. It’s detached.
The cabin has the usual things: a TV, WiFi, dishwasher, washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. There’s a cot and highchair if you need them. Parking is right outside.
It’s a working farm, so you’ll see cattle around. Guests are welcome to watch the milking and feed the calves if they want to. There’s a small shop on site selling our own meat, eggs, and milk. We’ve also got fishing lakes here if you fancy it.
The nearest pub is about three quarters of a mile away. There’s a shop a bit further, about a mile and a quarter. For a restaurant, you’d drive about nine miles.
You’re in a good spot for getting out. Exmoor is very close for walking. The north Devon coast, like Woolacombe and Croyde, is about a 40 minute drive. Barnstaple is roughly 12 miles away and has a cinema and a pannier market. Places like Exmoor Zoo and the RHS Garden Rosemoor are within half an hour.
