Foxglove Cottage 2 Drymen

Foxglove Cottage 2 is in Drymen. It's a detached house, so no neighbours sharing walls.

It sleeps six, with three bedrooms. The main thing is that each bedroom has its own bathroom. One has a jacuzzi bath. There's underfloor heating, which is good when it's cold.

The stairs are fine. The garden is private and fully enclosed, which is useful with dogs. You can bring up to two.

Drymen village is a short walk. There's a pub called The Clachan, which is old and is run by the same people who own these cottages. The village has a couple of shops for basics.

You're in the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. For walks, Conic Hill is very close and the views over Loch Lomond are good. The West Highland Way path goes through Balmaha, which is about ten minutes by car. You can get a ferry from Balmaha to Inchcailloch island.

Loch Lomond Shores at Balloch is about a 20-minute drive. It has shops, a cinema, and things like that. Go Ape Aberfoyle is in the same sort of direction if you want that. Glengoyne whisky distillery is about 15 minutes away.

For a bigger walk, Ben Lomond is maybe a 30-minute drive to the start of the path.

Facilities: it has the usual things like a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. Parking is on site.
