Foxglove Cottage 1 is on the edge of Drymen in Stirlingshire. It's a detached house, so there's no one next door. You're in the Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park.
It sleeps six, in three bedrooms. Each bedroom has its own bathroom, which is a plus, and one has a jacuzzi bath. It's a 4 Star property, so it's comfortable and well looked after.
The village of Drymen is a short walk away. There's a shop. The Clachan Inn there is a good pub. It's historic, and it's owned by the same people who run the cottages, so they know what they're doing.
The property is good for dogs, two are allowed. There's a private garden. For facilities, you've got underfloor heating, Wifi, a washing machine, dishwasher, TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. Parking is on site.
For things to do, Drymen is the start of the Rob Roy Way walking route. The West Highland Way passes close by as well. Balloch, at the south end of Loch Lomond, is about a 20 minute drive. You can get boat trips from there. Balmaha is closer, maybe 10 minutes, and you can get the ferry over to Inchcailloch island from there.
Conic Hill is just outside Balmaha and a good, short-ish climb for views. Ben Lomond is a proper mountain, about a 30 minute drive and then a long walk up. Aberfoyle is about 15 minutes away, they have a Go Ape. If you like whisky, Glengoyne distillery is about 15 minutes south.
