Dunrigh Cottage is in Blackwaterfoot on Arran. It's a semi-detached house, not quite on the seafront but very close. About a hundred yards to the beach.
It sleeps six. There are three bedrooms. Two are twin rooms and the third is a bunk room. They're fine, nothing fancy. There are two shower rooms, which is handy with a group.
The main room has a sea view. It's open plan with the dining area. There's a conservatory on the front where you can sit and watch the sea. The kitchen has what you need. There's a dishwasher and a washing machine.
The garden is at the back. It's enclosed and gets the sun.
The village has most things. There's a shop, a butcher, a post office, and a bakery. A few places to eat. The Kinloch Hotel is just up the road. The beach is sandy and good for a walk. The golf course is right there along the coast.
If you want the pool and spa, the Auchrannie Resort is at Brodick. That's about a 25 minute drive.
For days out, Brodick Castle and its gardens are worth a visit. The Machrie Moor standing stones are a short drive from Blackwaterfoot. Goatfell is there if you want a proper hike. Lochranza has the distillery.
