The Old Baron's Courthouse is in Ceres, Fife. It's a ground-floor flat in what used to be the local courthouse, built in the 1600s. It sleeps three. Two bedrooms: one double, one single. One bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating.
The living area is open plan. Kitchen, dining table, sitting area with a TV. It's got character, but it's been modernised. The ceilings are low in places. That's just how it is in old buildings like this.
You have parking on site. There's a dishwasher, WiFi, and bedding and towels are included. No pets, sorry.
Ceres is a quiet village with a green and a couple of pubs. The Fife Folk Museum is here if you're interested. St Andrews is about a 15-minute drive. You've got the university, the beach, and the golf there.
The coast is close. Anstruther, Pittenweem, Crail — they're all traditional fishing villages about 20 minutes away. Good for fish and chips and a walk around the harbour.
For walking, the Fife Pilgrims Way passes nearby. There are also local woodland trails. The Hill of Tarvit mansion and gardens are just outside the village for a stroll.
