The James Wilson Suite is in Ceres, which is a village in Fife, central Scotland. It’s part of a converted hotel. You’ll see the main restaurant and bar when you go in, but the suite itself is private.
It sleeps four people in two double bedrooms. The main thing about the bedrooms is that they each have their own bathroom with a shower. It’s got a 4 Star rating. It’s modern and comfortable.
It’s called the James Wilson Suite because James Wilson, who was one of the founding fathers of America, was from a farm just outside the village. He studied at St Andrews before he left.
For things to do, you’re right in the village. The Hill of Tarvit Mansion is a short walk away, good for a stroll around the gardens. St Andrews is about a fifteen minute drive. That’s where the university and the famous golf course are. The Fife coastal path runs through a lot of the old fishing villages nearby, like Elie and Anstruther.
If you drive for about half an hour, you can get to Dundee. It’s got the V&A museum and the RRS Discovery. Edinburgh is about an hour and a half away by car.
In terms of what’s here, the kitchen has what you need for basic meals. There’s a dishwasher and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. There’s on-site parking and WiFi. You can bring one dog.
