Moonzie Stables is on the Moonzie House estate near Cupar in Fife. It's a detached cottage that used to be the stables for the big house. It sleeps five, has three bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating.
It's a conversion, so it's full of character but that means some things are unusual. There's a spiral staircase inside. It's open and steep. Something to be aware of if you have very young children or anyone less steady on their feet. The furniture is a mix, some of it is vintage. The kitchen, bathroom and beds are all modern though.
It's open plan downstairs. There's a double sofa bed in the living area if you need it. You've got your own garden. It's on a working farm, so you'll see and hear farm activity sometimes. Tractors going past, that sort of thing.
Cupar town centre is about a ten-minute drive. It's a handy market town with shops and places to eat. You're well placed here for exploring. The East Neuk fishing villages like Anstruther and Crail are about half an hour away. St Andrews is about twenty minutes by car. For walking, the Fife Coastal Path is easy to get to.
Facilities are included: bedding, towels, WiFi, TV, washing machine. You can bring one well-behaved dog. There's parking.
