Green Yurt Broadmuir

The Green Yurt is in Broadmuir, Aberdeenshire. It's a proper off-grid glamping spot. You're tucked into the side of a field, it's very quiet.

It sleeps three in one bedroom. It's a 4 Star glamping site, so it's got good comforts like a proper bed and a private shower. The hot tub is private and is out on the decking. You have to check on the heat for it when you get there.

It's a yurt, so it's a big circular space. The bedroom end is separated by a curtain. It's all one room really. There's a wood burner for heat and the kitchen is functional. The WiFi can be patchy, it's the country. There's parking right outside.

You can bring two dogs. There's a kids' play area on the site. It's part of a small group of glamping properties, so you might see other guests coming and going.

The coast is about 25 minutes drive. There are some great big beaches up that way, like Forvie National Nature Reserve. You can see dolphins sometimes at the Moray Firth. Inland, it's mostly farmland and country walks. There are castles and distilleries all over Aberdeenshire if that's your thing.
