Harbour Road Gardenstown

This cottage is on Harbour Road in Gardenstown. It's that line of white houses you see from the harbour, on the right-hand side facing the sea. Ours is the end one.

It sleeps up to six. There are two bedrooms. One has a double bed, the other has a double bed plus bunk beds. There's one bathroom with a shower. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-equipped.

The living room looks out over Gamrie Bay. You can watch the fishing boats from there. The kitchen has everything you'd need, and the dining table is in there too. Downstairs, there's a separate room with a sofa bed, a Playstation 4, and some books and games. We call it the games room. It's useful if the kids want their own space, or if someone needs an extra bed.

Outside, there's a small patio with the same view of the bay. You're a couple of minutes' walk from the harbour. There are a few shops and a pub nearby. The Gardenstown Heritage Centre is worth a look if you're curious about the village.

We've left a few bikes you can use. The roads and paths round here are good for cycling. You often see dolphins out in the Moray Firth. For walks, the coastal path is right there.

Facilities: WiFi, a Smart TV with Netflix, washing machine, bedding and towels are included. There's a stairgate for little ones. We allow one well-behaved dog.
