The cottage is called Crovie, same as the village. It's in Aberdeenshire, right on the north-east coast.
It sleeps four people. There are two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's rated 3 Star. It's clean and comfortable. The washing machine and dishwasher are included, and so is the bedding and towels.
It's a detached cottage, which is rare here. Most of the houses in Crovie are joined together. It's one of the last ones at the end of the row. You can't drive to the door because there's no road, just a footpath along the front. You park at the top of the cliffs and walk down, about two minutes. You'll need to carry your bags.
The back garden looks straight out to the North Sea. There's no fence between you and the water, just the rocks. You can sit out there and watch the sea. You might see dolphins. In winter, the storms are something else. It can get quite wild.
The village pub is about a mile and a half away, up the hill in Gardenstown. The nearest shop is two miles. You'll want a car.
You can bring one dog. The garden isn't fully enclosed, so you'd need to keep an eye on them.
If you want to explore, there's good coastal walking right from the door. Fraserburgh is about half an hour's drive for shops and things. For history, Pitsligo Castle is nearby. The Castle Fraser estate and Leckie garden are both within a 30 minute drive too.
